  7. Big storylines from the early gamespublished at 21:27 BST 28 September

    NFL Sunday on BBC Sport

These are the key storylines from the seven 18:00 BST games:

Eagles win battle of unbeaten teams

The Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into this game unbeaten and the Eagles came out on top in a thriller.

They dominated early on, leading 24-6 at one point, but the Bucs fought back, the Eagles held on and it finished 31-25.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart impressed on his first start as the New York Giants pulled off one of the shocks of the season so far, beating Justin Herbert's Los Angeles Chargers 21-18.

However, there wasn bad news for New York as star receiver Malik Nabers suffered a reported ACL injury.

    Lions offence > Browns defence

The Detroit Lions' explosive offence ws on top against the Cleveland Browns' number one-ranked defence with Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown impressing in a 34-10 win.

Bills hold off Saints to go 4-0

And the Buffalo Bills were expecting to easily beat the New Orleans Saints but were made to work hard to win 31-19 and remain unbeaten.

With six seconds left, Philadelphia decide against punting and instead decide to take a safety, conceding two - redundant - points to allow the clock to run out.

The game ended up closer than looked likely at half-time when the dominant Eagles were 24-6 up, helped by some Bucs mistakes.

Baker Mayfield led a decent second-half rally but Tampa left themselves just too much to do as they slip to 3-1 while the Eagles stay unbeaten at 4-0.

  11. Result - Dart leads Giants to shock winpublished at 21:22 BST 28 September

LA Chargers 18-21 New York Giants

A huge upset in New York as Jaxson Dart impressed on his debut as Giants quarterback to lead his side to shock victory over Justin Herbert's Chargers.

That's the Giants' first win of the season but their joy will be tempered some what by that injury to Malik Nabers.

  12. Coming up... Three and easy? Far from itpublished at 21:21 BST 28 September

Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs (21:25 BST)

OK, the season is only three games in.

But after tonight, barring an unlikely tied result, one of these AFC playoff mainstays will have a 1-3 record.

In fairness, both have endured tough starts schedule wise - the Chiefs beaten by 3-0 pair Philadelphia and LA Chargers while Baltimore pushed fancied duo Detroit and Buffalo all the way in narrow defeats.

But Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson will understand the importance of tonight's marquee meeting - neither will want to fall too far behind the 8-ball as the saying goes.

  13. Result - Bills see off Saints to go 4-0published at 21:20 BST 28 September

New Orleans Saints 19-31 Buffalo Bills

The New Orleans Saints gave Buffalo more to handle than many might have expected.

But Josh Allen stepped up when needed to help the Bills continue their perfect start.

  14. Postpublished at 21:16 BST 28 September

Philadelphia Eagles 31-23 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fourth down and 10 proves too much as the Eagles get Baker Mayfield under pressure and while he finds a receiver, he's well short of the line to gain.

Philadelphia will take over on downs and that should be that.

  15. Result - Lions offence dominates Brownspublished at 21:14 BST 28 September

    Cleveland Browns 10-34 Detroit Lions

That was no contest in the end as the high-powered Lions offence dominated the Browns, who had the number one-ranked defence before today.

The Lions have too many offensive weapons and Browns QB Joe Flacco could not get anything going.

How long before a quarterback chance in Cleveland?

  16. Postpublished at 21:14 BST 28 September

Philadelphia Eagles 31-23 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rachaad White gets a chunk of that yardage back but it's still fourth down and a must-convert for the Bucs...

  17. Postpublished at 21:13 BST 28 September

Philadelphia Eagles 31-23 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield takes a thunderous sack and it's a massive yardage loss on second down for the Buccaneers.

A late Washington field goal is not enough to prevent an Atlanta victory in a fun affair at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
