Speaking of Josh Jacobs, the Packers hand him the ball on first down but he's halted for a gain of just two yards.

Another blow for the Packers as offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins limps off after that play.

Gone are the days of Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers launching the ball downfield for the Green Bay Packers.

Jordan Love has impressed since taking over from Rodgers as the Packers' starting quarterback and the arrival of Josh Jacobs in the off-season has allowed him to lean more on the run game, something not traditionally associated with Green Bay.

Jordan Love overthrows receiver Dontayvion Wicks and is fortunate to escape an interception.

Keisean Nixon makes a better job of his second kick-off return than he did his first.

But even then he can't get past the 25-yard line - and the Packers get backed up by a holding penalty.

Jordan Love's elbow issues will be tested out here, behind early and starting from deep inside his own half.

Saquon Barkley got 106 rushing yards in their first game of the season against Green Bay and you were like 'oh yeah, this is going to work. This might be the magic elixir that the Eagles were missing the year before'.

The Barkley fit's been big and it's so critical for Green Bay to make sure he doesn't get off to a great start, build that confidence and get the home ground fired up.

This is about the Packers hanging in this championship fight the first couple of rounds and stopping the run is a big part of that.
