Denver Broncos 10-6 New York Jets

Bo Nix gets the ball and takes off before he's taken down after a six-yard gain.

It's enough for the first down as the Broncos cross the halfway line into New York territory.

Denver Broncos 10-6 New York Jets

Back with the Broncos and Bo Nix launches a huge pass in search of Marvin Mims but it's too deep for the wideout to reach.

Nix then finds Evan Engram from three yards to get the first down.

There's a short break in play as Jets defensive lineman Jay Tufele receives treatment.

Denver will get us going again from their own 40-yard line on 3rd & 2.

Denver Broncos 10-6 New York Jets

The Jets take the ball deep in their own half for the start of the second quarter.

Not much happening for the first two drives and Justin Fields looks long out wide to his left on the third.

The ball bounces out and the first chance to respond to going behind comes to nothing.

This is why we love Sean Payton, the way he manifested this drive, he attacked one defender and that's what you have to do - go for where you have an advantage.

You have Evan Engram out there you just have to use him - he's a big target and he makes himself look really, really big for the quarterback.

It's the sequencing of the plays - that is just great play calling.

  5. Latest score - Jets set to take over at start of second quarterpublished at 15:11 BST

So Denver are the first team to get something going on offence.

But the Jets are struggling so far. Quarterback Justin Fields only attempted one pass in the first quarter, for the loss of a yard.

Bo Nix finds Marvin Mims then makes a chunk play to Evan Engram to get the Broncos into the red zone.

And Nix caps the drive with a 16-yard strike to a wide-open Nate Adkins, giving the tight end a walk-in touchdown.

Impressive stuff from the second-year quarterback.

  7. Broncos go for it on fourth downpublished at 15:04 BST

Denver Broncos 3-6 New York Jets

Ballsy call by Denver head coach Sean Payton.

A holding penalty against Denver leaves Bo Nix having to scramble for first down on 3rd & 16.

He's just short, but with Denver on 4th & 5, Payton goes for it and Nix finds Courtland Sutton for six yards.

    The Broncos are still rolling.

Both kickers coming up clutch for their teams so far.

First it's Nick Folk who kicks between the posts from 52 yards for the Jets before Will Lutz smashes it even further from 57 yards in front of the many Broncos fans in the single-tier South Stand.

Folk's second successful field goal then keeps up his 100% record for the season across both field goals and extra points. Clinical.

ABBA's Waterloo is blaring out as we prepare for Denver's next possession.

Our visitors from Sweden will be happy.

Having seen their Voyage show just across the town, I reckon ABBA may approve of the assault on the senses which is an NFL game day.

  10. Special teams showed uppublished at 14:57 BST

You need to win two out of three phases. The special teams needed to show up to the party, and they've done that.

You need an explosive play to get your offence up to the opposite side of the field, and that's just what they've done.

That run back set the tone, breaking tackles, bringing the pain and that's just what you need against this Denver side.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Jets back in frontpublished at 14:56 BST

Denver Broncos 3-6 New York Jets

Again there's nothing doing for the Jets' offence as they go three-and-out before Nick Folk converts a 41-yard field goal.

Good to get some reward from that kick-off return, but the Jets are yet to get a first down, let alone get into the red zone.

  12. Great play! - Instant reply by the Jetspublished at 14:53 BST

Denver Broncos 3-3 New York Jets

It said it's been a lively start, let's throw a huge kick-off return into the mix.

Kene Nwangwu busts a few tackles before being pushed out of bounds for a 72-yard gain.

Justin Fields comes back out with the Jets at Denver's 24-yard line.

    NFL fans in London

The international games are still a day out for all NFL fans. Got chatting to these folk earlier as there wasn't a Broncos or Jets jersey among them.

Neither the Panthers, Packers, nor the Seahawks are playing today but they have flocked from all over the world to be here today - not just from the UK but Sweden and even Australia.

One of them is even watching his first NFL game at 80 years old. You're never too old to join the NFL party!

  14. field goal

Field goal - Broncos draw levelpublished at 14:49 BST

Denver Broncos 3-3 New York Jets

Bo Nix rolls out of the pocket on third down and finds RJ Harvey. He's just short of earning a first down so out comes Wil Lutz, and his kick just has enough juice in it to get over the crossbar.

Lively start here at Tottenham, and we're all square midway through the first quarter.

  15. Broncos make opening first downpublished at 14:46 BST

Denver Broncos 0-3 New York Jets

Denver are soon at third down but Bo Nix makes a pass over the middle to Pat Bryant for the Broncos' opening first down of the game.

  16. Exactly what Jets neededpublished at 14:42 BST

    Osi Umenyiora
Two-time Super Bowl winner on Channel 5

Usually when you have a players only meeting things are going drastically wrong, but right now that was an oustanding football play by the New York Jets.

What we like to call this is the 'Peanut Punch'. This is exactly what the New York Jets needed, can you imagine going five games without one? No wonder they're 0-5.

And they're going to need turnovers today to win.

  17. Meet the New York Jets - the unluckiest team ever?published at 14:41 BST

Denver Broncos 0-3 New York Jets

And here's more from Jetman... with the Jets having not reached the Super Bowl since 1969, does he follow the unluckiest team ever?

Is this the unluckiest team ever?

  18. field goal

Field goal - Jets open the scoringpublished at 14:41 BST

Denver Broncos 0-3 New York Jets

The Jets' offence gets nothing going as they give away a penalty before Justin Fields is sacked by John Franklin-Myers.

They settle for the kick and Nick Folk makes no mistake from 52 yards.

  19. Turnover - Jets break 2025 droughtpublished at 14:37 BST

Denver Broncos 0-0 New York Jets

Jetman and Erik Coleman called it... Bo Nix does well to escape a sack on third down and completes the pass, but receiver Troy Franklin then fumbles in the tackle and Jets safety Andre Cisco pounces on it.

Six games into the season, the Jets' defence has finally forced their first turnover of the campaign.

Justin Fields will start work from Denver's 37-yard line.

  20. Kick-offpublished at 14:34 BST

Denver Broncos 0-0 New York Jets

The air is still thick with smoke from the pre-match pyro as the Jets kick off and they stop the Broncos' return at the 20-yard line with a crunching tackle.

Sign of intent from the Jets?
