Diogo Dalot's superb second-half goal gave Manchester United a narrow Premier League win at struggling Sheffield United.

Scott McTominay's low and improvised effort into the bottom right corner had put the visitors ahead.

The Scotland midfielder was then penalised for handling James McAtee's cross, as Oli McBurnie levelled for the hosts with a penalty.

However, Dalot's 25-yard effort ensured victory for Erik ten Hag's side.

Prior to kick-off there was a minute of applause for the victims of the tragedies in Israel and Gaza and to mark the death of club legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
