Andrew Strauss exit 'hastened' by Pietersen furore - Jonathan Agnew

BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew says there will be "resentment" among players that Andrew Strauss's retirement may have been "hastened" by the furore over Kevin Pietersen's axing from the team.

Agnew adds that Strauss, who skippered his country in 50 of his 100 Tests and is handing over to one-day captain Alastair Cook, knew his batting form was faltering.
