Tyler Hamilton says he saw Lance Armstrong take drugs

A former team-mate of Lance Armstrong, Tyler Hamilton, says he witnessed the seven-time Tour de France winner take performance-enhancing drugs.

The United States Anti-Doping Agency said in a report on Wednesday that the team both Hamiton and Armstrong rode for ran "the most sophisticated, professionalised and successful doping programme the sport has ever seen".

On BBC Radio 5 live Sport, Hamilton says that whilst riding for the US Postal Service team, both he and Armstrong made the "same mistakes" getting involved in doping that he believes was endemic in professional cycling.

5 live Sport will have a special programme "Peddlers: Cycling's Dirty Truth" at 19:00 BST on Monday looking at the whole Lance Armstrong saga.
