Mark Cavendish says he is ready to get 'back to bike racing'

After having urine thrown at him, Mark Cavendish tells BBC Sport: "That's the beauty of cycling, getting so close to the spectators."

Speaking before the 218km stage 12 of the Tour de France from Fougeres to Tours, the Manxman was keen to brush aside the incident.

He added that he had spoken to fellow sprinter Tom Veelers after their collision during stage 10 and that both men were ready to get "back to bike racing".
