Geraint Thomas: Team Sky rider says doping report is insulting
Sky rider Geraint Thomas describes a claim in the Cycling Independent Reform Commission report that doping is still widespread in cycling as "insulting".
Circ quotes a "respected cycling professional" who believes 90% of the peloton is still using performance-enhancing drugs.
Thomas, 28, says it is the older generation of cyclists who are the most cynical about clean racing because "they do not know any other way".
The Welshman insists his sport is a "lot cleaner" and says he would "put all the money" he has on British Tour de France winners Sir Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome being clean.
