Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal are in a strong position

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his club are in a strong position and does not believe their situation is as bad as the press make out, despite receiving criticism on Thursday at the club's AGM.

The Frenchman says they are one of the few clubs to "balance the books" and he cannot understand why they are "slaughtered" for it.

Wenger also does not rule out Arsenal winning the title despite not being in contention at the moment.
