Manchester United's Danny Welbeck hails Paul Scholes

A "delighted" Danny Welbeck praises veteran Paul Scholes for giving Manchester United "a lift" during their 3-2 FA Cup third round victory over rivals City.

Ahead of the game Scholes announced he was coming out of retirement to play until the end of the season and Welbeck says it is "fantastic" to have the midfielder back.

The striker, who scored United's second, also hails fellow goalscorer Wayne Rooney for his "splendid" double at the Etihad Stadium.
