Robin van Persie - Goal was lucky

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie believes his first goal for his new club was "lucky" after they beat Fulham 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Dutchman, who was signed from Arsenal for £24m earlier this month, pounced on a Patrice Evra cross to score on his first start for the Reds, with further goals from Shinji Kagawa and Rafael securing the three points.

Van Persie also praised the United fans, saying they have been "very nice to me".
