Hillsborough: Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers 'shocked' by report

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says he is "shocked" by the findings of the Hillsborough report, which found officers had changed statements and tried to blame fans for the disaster.

A vigil was held in Liverpool on Wednesday to remember the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy and Rodgers, who was in attendance, says the ceremony "increased his pride" at managing the club.

South Yorkshire Police has since said it is considering referring itself to the Independent Police Complaints Commission over its actions around the Hillsborough disaster.
