World Cup 2014: Wayne Rooney 'delight' at England return
Manchester United's Wayne Rooney says he is "delighted to be back" in the England set-up for the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland.
The 26-year-old missed the last two internationals with a badly gashed leg but is impressed by English football's new home, describing St Georges Park as "the future".
The fixtures are England's first since the retirement of former England captain John Terry who Rooney calls "a warrior" who will be "a loss" to the team.
