Liverpool 3-2 Tottenham: Spurs did not kill game - Villas-Boas
Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says it is "a pity" that his team could not "kill off the game" as they let a 2-1 lead slip to lose 3-2 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Luis Suarez put the Reds in front before a brace from Jan Vertonghen handed Spurs the advantage.
But a poor Kyle Walker backpass allowed Stewart Downing to equalise before Steve Gerrard scored the winner from the penalty spot.
Tottenham could have gone within two points of second-placed Manchester City with a win, but instead Liverpool close the gap and keep alive their faint hopes of gatecrashing the top four.
