Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hails 'phenomenal' title
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says his 13th title success with the club has been "phenomenal" and "sweet", after United beat Aston Villa 3-0 to win the Premier League title.
A first-half hat-trick by striker Robin van Persie was enough to give the home side the three points they needed to clinch the league with four games left.
Ferguson says he is "lucky" to have players like Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Van Persie in his squad, and feels United are a club that "never give in" after losing their crown to neighbours Manchester City last season.
