Top managers pay tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson

Some of the country's top football managers react to Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement as Manchester United manager.

Roberto Mancini, manager of United's local rivals Manchester City, says it was a "great honour and pleasure to compete against him", while his successor David Moyes says Ferguson will be "sorely missed" by everyone in football.

Also offering their thoughts on his departure are Mark Hughes, Aston Villa's Paul Lambert, Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, Crystal Palace's Ian Holloway and QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
