Roberto Mancini: Stuart Pearce feels managers need more time

Former Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce says Roberto Mancini should have been given more time at the club because of the trophies City won with him at the helm.

The Italian was sacked on Monday evening for his poor communication and relationships with players and executives.

Pearce says that communication is the most important thing for a manager and that managers should follow the example of the retiring Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
