Manchester United boss David Moyes admits his side did not play well enough in the 4-1 defeat against local rivals Manchester City.

Wayne Rooney scored Manchester United's only goal with a superb free-kick late on, but that was little consolation to Moyes.

The defeat leaves United eighth in the Premier League on seven points, five behind league leaders Arsenal.
