Roy Hodgson 'convinced' England will qualify for World Cup

Roy Hodgson says a lot of good teams will fail to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but he is "convinced" that his England team will not be one of them.

Hodgson also believes Jack Wilshire's comments that "the only people who should play for England are English people" were "misunderstood" and "translated in a way people want to translate them".

England must beat Montenegro and Poland to guarantee qualification, with anything less than maximum points leaving Hodgson's side needing other results to go their way.
