West Brom's new manager Pepe Mel says there is "no confusion" regarding his backroom staff at The Hawthorns.

The former Real Betis manager says "the future will tell" whether his assistants join the club, an issue that appeared a sticking point last month.

The 50-year-old Spaniard faces Everton at Goodison on Monday in his his first Premier League game in charge of the Baggies.
