Olympiakos v Man Utd: Wayne Rooney wants strong end to season
Striker Wayne Rooney says Manchester United's inconsistent league form "hurts" and calls on his team-mates to "take responsibility" and produce a strong end to the season.
Speaking ahead of United's last 16 Champions League first leg against Olympiakos, manager David Moyes admits that the returning strike duo of Rooney and Robin van Persie are "both vital" to his side's fortunes.
United are 11 points adrift of the top four in the Premier League but finished top of their Champions League group, while Olympiakos are unbeaten in the Greek Super League and have only lost twice at home in the league in four years.
