Only Jose Mourinho could follow Sir Alex - Gary Lineker

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker says only Jose Mourinho could have succeeded in following Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United boss.

David Moyes, 50, was sacked as United's manager on Tuesday morning, just 10 months into a six-year contract.

Lineker believes following a man as successful as Sir Alex Ferguson was "almost an impossible job" and that Moyes "wasn't quite the right fit" at Old Trafford.
