New manager Peter Hutton aiming to restore Derry City morale

New Derry City manager Peter Hutton says he is facing a baptism of fire in Friday's game in Cork but adds that the Candystripes squad must start to enjoy their football again.

However, Hutton admitted that there is a "lot of uncertainty" in the squad after Sunday's departure of previous manager Roddy Collins.

"A lot of the players were brought in by the previous manager so they are not sure what the situation is with themselves," added Hutton.

"I will be chatting to all the players individually and as a group. Anyone that doesn't want to be here, hopefully we can move on."
