Manuel Pellegrini wants tighter Manchester City defence

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini wants a clean sheet and a tighter defensive display when his side travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.

City have conceded five goals in their last three Premier League games, a tally Pellegrini says is "too much", and the Chilean concedes it is "not good" to be five points behind Chelsea in the race for the title after just six matches.

Aston Villa can welcome back striker Christian Benteke to their side for the visit of City and Pellegrini is wary of the strength of the Belgian striker, describing him as one of Villa's "special players".
