Wigan chairman Dave Whelan to stand by Malky Mackay
Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan says the club will stand by new manager Malky Mackay if he is charged by the Football Association once it has finished its investigation.
The FA is looking into allegations Mackay sent "sexist, racist and homophobic" text messages during his time in charge of Cardiff City.
Whelan goes on to say he was impressed by Mackay's honesty and was shown the messages in question.
