Man Utd 3-1 Liverpool: Reds need a lot of work - Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits there is "a lot of work required" after his side's 3-1 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.
After a drab opening half, the hosts took the lead through Daley Blind before Ander Herrera scored from the penalty spot. Christian Benteke's spectacular overhead kick pulled a goal back for the visitors, before United's £36m signing Anthony Martial coolly finished after beating Reds defender Martin Skrtel.
Benteke has scored in each of his last three Premier League appearances against Manchester United, but has lost two and drawn one of these games.
