One-point defeat frustrates Derry manager Brian McIver

Derry boss Brian McIver is left frustrated as his side's spirited comeback against Cork falls one point short in the Division One match at Pairc Ui Rinn.

The Ulster side had looked well out of the contest until goals by Enda Lynn and Emmet McGuckin revived their hopes just before half-time.

"We left ourselves with a mountain to climb," McIver admitted.
