Cailean O'Boyle lauds Brian McIver's impact on Derry side

Cailean O'Boyle says Brian McIver has instilled belief in a previously under-performing Derry football squad.

"That belief is there for the first time since I have been involved with the Derry squad," said O'Boyle after Sunday's 2-17 to 3-09 win over Kildare which guaranteed the Oak Leafers a place in the Division 1 semi-finals of the Football League.

"Brian is a real players' man and gets on well with every individual in the squad."
