Rugby coach wins the BBC West Unsung Hero award for Wiltshire
Cliff Garland has helped grow Minety Rugby Club from just 9 juniors to over 200 boys and girls in 17 years.
He has turned a village of just 1000 residents into a thriving rugby community, helping over 30 adults get qualifications in coaching.
But when asked why he does it, his reply was simple, "it keeps me out of mischief."
The BBC Get Inspired Sports Unsung Hero Award recognises and rewards outstanding contribution by individuals at the grassroots level of local sport, who give up their time on a voluntary basis so that sport can be played and enjoyed by people throughout the UK. Over 150 Unsung Heroes have been honoured over the last decade.
