Ryder Cup 2012: Colsaerts delights in wild card entry

Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts admits he is "very fortunate" to be the only rookie on the European Ryder Cup team for the clash against the United States which starts on 28 September.

The 29-year-old World Match Play champion says he will be a "sponge for experience" and learn from the other players.

Colsaerts was given a wildcard entry to the tournament at Medinah Country club in Chicago by captain Jose Maria Olazabal on Sunday, and says he had to "prove" he was good enough for selection.
