The Open 2013: 'Stupid errors' for Rory McIlroy at Muirfield

Rory McIlroy says he made "stupid errors" as he cards a 79 during the first round of the Open at Muirfield.

The world number two had a troublesome round, making six bogeys and two double bogeys to finish eight over par.

McIlroy has yet to win a tournament this season and missed the cut in his last start at the Irish Open.
