The Open 2013: Martin Laird's nightmare quintuple-bogey nine

Scotland's Martin Laird practically puts himself out of contention for the Open with a quintuple-bogey nine at the third hole at Muirfield.

He was two under par as he reached the third tee but plummeted down the leaderboard after taking two penalty drops on the way to a morale-sapping nine.

Laird did manage to claim a shot back at the fifth before dropping more shots at the sixth, eighth and 10th.
