Graeme McDowell says the Irish Open is back on the map

Graeme McDowell welcomes the news that the Irish Open has secured a title sponsor for the first time in five years and says the European Tour event is "back on the map".

Dubai Duty Free have agreed a one-year deal to back the event, with an option to extend their association.

"This is another step in the right direction towards making the Irish Open one of the major events on the European Tour," said the Northern Irsihman.

"The field is going to be amazing and it should be quite a tournament."
