Rory McIlroy says Portrush Open triumph would mean more than career Grand Slam

Rory McIlroy says victory in The Open at Royal Portrush is a bigger priority for him this year than completing the career Grand Slam at Augusta in April.

In an interview with BBC Sport Northern Ireland's Stephen Watson, McIlroy confirms he is missing the Irish Open to concentrate on his Open Championships preparations, adding that he will be maintaining his European Tour membership.
