The British Horseracing Authority is in the middle of its most comprehensive review into the use of the whip, as BBC Sport's Joe Wilson reports.

This year's Grand National-winning jockey Jason Maguire was banned for five days for excessively using his whip in the closing stages onboard Ballabriggs.
