Royal Ascot: Frankel knew he had won - Sir Henry Cecil
Trainer Sir Henry Cecil says Frankel did not tire as he won the feature race - the St James's Palace Stakes - on day one of Royal Ascot and adds that the three-year-old colt thought he had done enough to win with a furlong to go.
Jockey Tom Queally agrees that he was not tired, despite leading for much of the race, and believes he was just "fed up" with leading for such a long time.
Frankel finished three-quarters of a length clear of Zoffany, with Excelebration third.
