MotoGP honours Marco Simoncelli with charity bike ride

A team of riders led by 1993 500cc world champion Kevin Schwantz and former motocross world champion Jamie Dobb have taken part in a 1,600km ride from Donington Park to Misano in honour of Marco Simoncelli.

BBC Sport's Matt Roberts was among the riders who completed relay legs on the "Cycle of Wishes" through England, France, Switzerland and Italy.

The group were joined by MotoGP riders to ride the final 10 kilometres to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, finishing with a lap of the track.
