MotoGP: Casey Stoner escapes injury in Australia qualifying crash

Casey Stoner is thrown off his bike during qualifying for Sunday's Australian Grand Prix.

The world champion recently had surgery on his right ankle after crashing in Indianapolis, and came close to another injury after coming off his bike at the exit of Turn 4 at Phillip Island and landing on his damaged leg.

The Australian returned to the track on a spare Repsol Honda and secured pole position in front of his home crowd.
