Kieran McGeeney says Cavan row last year helped galvanise Armagh
Kieran McGeeney says Armagh were able to use the fall-out from their game against Cavan last summer to their advantage.
"The fall-out would have done something to the players," said McGeeney, who was assistant to Paul Grimley last year.
"With athletes you look for things. Maybe things that aren't there. You try and use everything to your advantage."
The Armagh manager added that he is unconvinced by suggestions that the compact Athletic Grounds pitch will suit his side in Sunday's Ulster quarter-final against provincial holders Donegal.
