Peter McGrath proud after Fermanagh bow out against Dubs
Peter McGrath says his Fermanagh side showed great spirit in the second half of their All-Ireland Football quarter-final defeat against Dublin after struggling in the first half.
McGrath acknowledged that his side didn't play well in the opening period as they trailed 1-13 to 0-6 at the interval but said he was "proud" of their second-half efforts as they restricted Dublin to a 2-23 to 2-15 victory margin.
"The reaction of the Fermanagh fans after the game was absolutely brilliant. It was something nearly unprecedented for a team beaten at Croke Park," said the Erne County boss.
