Six Nations 2014: Italy 11-52 England - reaction

England head coach Stuart Lancaster says he is proud of his team's efforts in beating Italy 11-52 in Rome, but knows their Six Nations fate will rest on Ireland's result in France.

Two tries from Mike Brown, plus further scores by Owen Farrell, Jack Nowell, Mako Vunipola, Manu Tuilagi and Chris Robshaw, secured the two points for England - although Leonardo Sarto crossed late on for the hosts.

The win means that England lead the Six Nations table but their points difference is eight fewer than Ireland's, meaning the Irish will win the championship with a win against France in Paris.
