Belgian youngster Luca Brecel is denied a place in the semi-final of the UK Championship by Shaun Murphy following a final-frame thriller.

The 17-year-old missed a pink with two balls remaining to allow "The Magician" to clear the table and take a 6-5 victory, after the momentum had been swinging both ways.

Murphy will meet Ali Carter in the semi-finals in York, after he beat Stuart Bingham 6-4.
