Ruta Meilutyte powers to World Swimming breaststroke gold
Lithuanian teenager Ruta Meilutyte powers to World Championship gold in the 100m breaststroke in Barcelona.
The 16-year-old, who is based in Plymouth, clocked one minute 04.42 seconds, seven hundredths slower than the world record she set in Monday's semi-finals.
Meilutyte, who won Olympic gold in the same event at London 2012, said winning races always feels like a "big surprise".
