Andy Murray will improve after US Open win - Ivan Lendl

Ivan Lendl believes Andy Murray can get even better after winning his first Grand Slam at the US Open, saying it has been a "fantastic year" for the Briton.

Coach Lendl believes Murray has matured during their partnership, but refuses to divulge the secrets of the pair's success in case it hands any vital information to his opponents.

Like Murray, Lendl's own maiden Grand Slam title at the French Open in 1984 also came following defeats in four finals, before the Czech went on to win eight in total - including three US Opens.
