The Orioles are quickly down to their final out but are still fighting.

The Orioles finally get themselves out of this nightmare inning as Aaron Judge fly outs - there will be no 50th home run of the season for him today.

But the Yankees have found their extra gear when they needed it with six runs in the tenth including that wonderful grand slam home run from Ben Rice.

The Yankees have an insurance run to make this game even safer.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. tees off out to right field for his 31st home run of the season.

The Yankees lead it 6-1 and surely have the win all but secured now.

  8. GRAND SLAM HOME RUN!published at 21:46 BST 21 September

Cody Bellinger singles on a line drive to left field to leave the bases loaded!

That sets it up for Ben Rice who has been the star player all day for the Yankees.

He powers a flyball out to centre field and it's gone.

Grisham, Judge and Bellinger also score as the Yankees bring four home.

A massive home run for Rice and the Yankees lead 5-1.

The Yankees start with an automatic runner on second base as we enter the tenth inning.

Strowd walks Aaron Judge first up so the Yankees have two men on base.

The Orioles go for a pitching change and turn to Keegan Akin.

Cowser immediately steals second base to put himself in scoring position, but Coby Mayo is then struck out for the final out and we are going to need at least one extra inning to separate the teams.

  11. Postpublished at 21:33 BST 21 September

The Yankees look to closer David Bednar to keep this game going.

He gets the first two outs but then walks Colton Cowser. Can the Orioles make anything happen here?

  12. Postpublished at 21:26 BST 21 September

Kade Strowd is into the game for the Orioles and continues the pattern of impressive pitching.

He nails three excellent strikeouts to see off Paul Goldschmidt, Anthony Volpe and Trent Grisham.

The Orioles can walk it off in front of their own fans as we enter the bottom of the ninth.

Devin Williams is into the game for the Yankees, replacing Luke Weaver on the mound.

Williams enjoys a solid inning on his birthday including a strikeout of Gunnar Henderson. We are heading into a crucial ninth inning.

  15. Successful challengepublished at 21:09 BST 21 September

Jasson Dominguez hits a slow groundball to Gunnar Henderson at shortstop. Henderson makes a good play to first base but it's incredibly close and the Yankees challenge the out call.

After a short delay they are successful and Dominguez stays on third.

Meanwhile Ben Rice is safe at third base after he previously recorded his third hit of the game with a big double to the wall at centre field.

Now a big chance for the Yankees to take the lead!

But they don't take it as Jose Caballero fires a groundball straight to third baseman Jeremiah Jackson who makes an easy play.

  16. Postpublished at 20:59 BST 21 September

The Orioles leave the bases loaded as Jackson Holliday grounds out to first baseman Paul Goldschmidt.

Camden Yards is deflated. That was a messy inning from the Yankees, needing three different pitchers to get the job done, but they keep the scores level at 1-1.

  18. Postpublished at 20:51 BST 21 September

Another pitching change for the Yankees as Fernando Cruz replaces Tim Hill on the mound.

It's not an outing to remember though as Cruz walks Jeremiah Jackson before giving up a single to Coby Mayo. Jackson advances to third base and as fast as that Cruz is being replaced himself.

  19. Blue Jays and Guardians both aheadpublished at 20:46 BST 21 September

This is an increasingly important game for the Yankees because the Toronto Blue Jays are looking good against the Kansas City Royals.

A big defensive mistake from the Orioles at the top of the seventh.

Jose Caballero bunts for the Yankees and Jeremiah Jackson isn't quick enough to make the play at first base. His throw is wild and Caballero has the chance to advance to second and into scoring position.

Giancarlo Stanton is into the game and is intentionally walked by Enns. The Yankees have men on first and second base.

But Enns does manage to work his way out of trouble as he strikes out Trent Grisham with a 97 mph fastball.
