We've been keeping an eye on arrivals and after a host of celebrities we didn't recognise (blaming American audiences for this, not my age), we have some A-listers for you.

Netflix do tend to bring in the celebs, wonder why?

  3. 'We'll see a better Canelo'published at 04:04 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

    Barry Jones
Former world champion to BBC Sport

I think Crawford will start fast, test this theory that Canelo doesn't have the energy to fight at a higher pace. Getting up on the lead if he can and force Canelo to push the fight. I do think we'll see a better Canelo than we've seen in the last few years and size will play a factor and I think he might stop Crawford. I'm not totally sure on that and I can see Crawford outboxing Canelo. The only thing I don't see is Crawford stopping Canelo, which is probably what will happen now that I've said it.

    I'm no expert or anything but I don't think we're getting a 4am ringwalk.

We're currently in round seven of Christian Mbilli v Lester Martinez and then we have another fight after that before the main event.

    Try 5am...

I recently watched a documentary where Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez bought a watch for £1m like it was £100.

    Eye-watering stuff.

  8. Canelo - the Hollywood starpublished at 03:52 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

Alvarez has been pure box-office all week. Flashy, confident, strutting around Las Vegas like he owns the place - which, let’s be honest, he kind of does.

He’s reportedly set to bank around £110m tonight and carries himself like a movie star.

The sunglasses indoors at the grand arrivals? Either swagger turned up to 11… or a new dad hiding sleepless eyes after his wife gave birth just a month ago.

Whatever the reason, the aura is there.

  9. How much is Canelo and Crawford's fight purse?published at 03:49 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

    Some reported, massive numbers here.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will earn a reported purse of £111m ($150m).

Terence Crawford will take home at least £7.4m ($10m), with the total pot expected to top $200m.

    Wow.

*disclaimer, pretty impossible to verify purses so take the above with a pinch of salt!

  10. 'This fight is about cementing my place in history'published at 03:47 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

History is on the line for Terence Crawford tonight.

A win means he will become the first male fighter to be undisputed champion in three weight divisions in the four-belt era and surely catapult him into conversations for one of the greatest ever.

When BBC Sport begins a question, "If you win on Saturday you'll make history..." Crawford interrupts firmly: "When I win on Saturday, I'll make history.

"This fight is about cementing my place in history."

Check it out below! We can confirm a shudder went down Kal Sajad's spine when Crawford corrected him.

The cheapest beer you can buy in the bar behind the media section is $20. Criminal. Just for clarification, I'm not drinking on the job. I'm just in complete shock and needed to share.

  14. Khan picks 'untouchable' Crawfordpublished at 03:39 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

The only fighter to have faced both Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford is Briton Amir Khan. He was knocked out by both.

    Khan thinks Crawford is "untouchable".

"It's a fantastic fight but I just can't see Canelo beating him. Crawford is untouchable and I see him winning by skill, movement and holding his weight well."

  15. Lewis issues warning to Crawfordpublished at 03:37 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

    Lennox Lewis
Former undisputed heavyweight champion to BBC Sport

It's not really easy coming up in weight. You get hit hard and sometimes it can affect you.

What Crawford has to realise is not to get hit to save his energy. He's coming up against a guy who can hit hard.

To absorb those punches takes the energy out of you.

  16. Crawford's weight transformationpublished at 03:35 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

"The weight will be a problem".

As you can see from the chart below, Terence Crawford has put on a stone and a half in weight for this fight but is looking ripped and powerful.

"It's been different because I don't have to worry about anything - the weight room, strength and conditioning, when I'm eating and things like that. I'm as happy as could be," he told BBC Sport on Tuesday.

"I woke up and ate pancakes this morning. I would never have been able to eat pancakes before."

Just hoping there’s no controversial scoring if it goes the distance. I just don’t know how boxing can have such opposing views from so called experts. It’s tainted the sport for too long, bring in the AI judge!

    Jay from Bucks

What a fight. Surpassing even those of Usyk vs Fury most recently, which were mega fights in their own right. I've got Crawford by points. The way he dismantled Shawn Porter several fights ago, switching stance and finding a way when he looked to be down on the scorecards. But this will be his greatest feat yet.

  18. Crawford booed at weigh-inpublished at 03:30 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

The official weigh-in was held behind closed doors at the Fontainebleau on Friday morning before the ceremonial weigh-in took place in the T-Mobile Arena hours later.

It was like a full-blown victory parade with a carnival of Mexican flags, football kits and chanting as Terence Crawford was booed relentlessly.

Despite the xtra weight, Crawford looked ripped as he said: "I feel wonderful. I can't wait until tomorrow."

Both fighters came in half a pound under the 12st limit.

  19. Vegas comes alivepublished at 03:28 BST

    Canelo v Crawford

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

After a pretty quiet start to the week, Vegas began to buzz from mid-week onwards.

The hotels, the casinos, the lobbies - everywhere you looked, particularly today - was packed with boxing fans draped in Mexican flags.

I’ve covered big shows in Saudi Arabia where the atmosphere is a – to put it simply - flat, but this is Vegas, and this is big-time boxing.

With Mexican Independence Day just around the corner, it felt more like a carnival than a fight week.

Crawford might be fighting in his home country, but he will very much be going into the lion's den this evening.
