The boos when Crawford arrived at the stadium and his face hit the big screen were deafening. I doubt he will have faced hostility like this.
One woman in the crowd, proudly from Omaha, stood up to hundreds of fans chanting 'Canelo' and roared her city’s name right back at them.
All in good fun, though.

Mexico's favourite son is here.

The referee will be Thomas Taylor.
The three judges at ringside will be Tim Cheatham, Steve Weisfeld and Max DeLuca - all from the United States.
Interestingly, this is the same team which scored Manny Pacquiao's controversial majority draw with Mario Barrios in July.

Speaking of the venue...
A fight this huge needs a host worthy and that is exactly what Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium is.
The 71,000 seater opened just five years ago and looks pretty special.
Oh, and it recently hosted John Cena's record 17th WWE Championship win at Wrestlemania 41!

No chance of going hungry tonight - the media tent has already laid out a spread of snacks and sweets, with a hot dinner served at 18:00 local time.
We got to the stadium around 13:30pm local time (yes, partly for the free food), and found press and reporters set up in an own elevated section. There was only a sprinkling of fans inside, getting a feel for the place long before the main event.

This is what we all want to know, right?
The ringwalks are scheduled for 04:00/04:30 BST so maybe get a coffee on the go. I'm already two down.
Canelo v Crawford
Kal is right, this is a super-fight and we're giving it the build-up it deserves.
It may be just gone 3am in the UK but this is the sort of fight that you wake up at silly time for.
