    Wardley wins by knockout

Fabio Wardley speaking to DAZN after knocking out Frazer Clarke: "I said I've got power in each hand and if I hurt someone then I can get rid of them. I went into that first fight with a couple of issues, we got them fixed up, got the gameplan right, and executed on the night.

"Sometimes war is needed, and sometimes brains are needed. I said in all interviews that I had success but we needed to be a little bit sweeter. I can't help it, war by name and war by nature. Once I have my enemies hurt, there's no help for them unless the bell rings.

"These belts look great but I want some that say world on them. Whoever has them we have to come back here. There's something in the air over here, it gives me an extra buzz. Whenever they want me back, I'll be straight back over."

    Wardley wins by knockout

Fabio Wardley spoke this week about his career being "a little ahead of Frazer's" and he certainly showed his ability tonight.

Wardley claimed that he was just two or three fights away from being in a world title bout.

This win puts him on firmly on that path.

He has just been asked about who could be next but didn't throw any names out there.

    Full quotes on the way.

Frazer Clarke is back on his feet and walks across the ring to greet Fabio Wardley.

He received some treatment in the corner and looks to be OK.

That really was a devastating finish.

Wardley found a home with a looping right on several occasions. Clarke even turned his back at one point as he appeared dazed, before he fell to the canvas and the referee stepped in.

    Wardley v Clarke

    Darren Barker
Former world middleweight champion on 5 Live Boxing with Steve Bunce podcast

It will be easier for Fabio Wardley to implement new tactics in this fight.

What I mean by that, is when you hang around the amateurs for a period of time the way Frazer Clarke has, you do get stuck in you ways.

What I've noticed with Frazer is, he'll pull the shots and that's a very amateur-ish thing to do. He won't fully rotate through the shot, for fear of getting caught. Whereas Fabio will commit to every shot.

He will have to pace himself a little bit more and I think that's the adjustment. He’ll still go hell for leather, but he won't be as frantic.

Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke boast a combined 22 knockouts from their 27 fights.

With their first meeting delivering everything but a stoppage and ending in a draw, they will be out to make sure it's not left to the judges this evening.

British heavyweight champion Wardley was hoping to get beyond Clarke last time in order to kick on to the next level with world titles on his mind.

The 29-year-old is yet to taste defeat in 18 fights and believes victory tonight will offer him that stepping stone.

"After I knock Frazer out I will put myself in the higher echelon of fighters who are fringe world-level boxers," Wardley said.

"I've proved myself at British and Commonwealth level but I'd say my boat is a little ahead of Frazer's.

"He's probably six or seven fights away from fighting for a world title and I'm two or three."

On April 1, two British heavyweights collided.

Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke put on a thriller in London.

Unfortunately, it ended in a draw with Wardley retaining his British and Commonwealth belts.

Fortunately, that draw means we get to see them do it all over again tonight.

"This is a new fight, not round 13. I will look at where I went wrong and work on it," Clarke says.

"We've found a good dance partner in each other but I plan on knocking him out spectacularly."
