Jack Catterall has spoken about the relief of moving up to welterweight and not having to do such aggressive cuts.

That's a big win for him against someone who was making some serious noise in Ekow Essuman.

Catterall is another Briton that can start looking towards world title fights next year.

  5. 'It was very traumatic'published at 21:32 GMT 15 November

    Eubank v Benn 2

Conor Benn's parents had fully signed up to the evangelical life and the experience left Benn with scars that cut far deeper than those he has sustained inside the boxing ring.

Around the age of 12, the school believed Benn was "demon-possessed".

"It was very traumatic," Benn said. "You were waking up in the morning and not knowing whether the anti-Christ was here.

"As a kid, you're easily influenced by people in these positions or power.

"Looking back - because I don't often reflect on it - you think it's pretty evil."

  7. Bellew's Verdictpublished at 21:30 GMT 15 November

'I have huge admiration for Eubank and Benn'

    Tony Bellew
Retired world champion and DAZN pundit

People think I have something against Chris Eubank Jr, but I admire him.

He is not like me and 99% of fighters. I have huge admiration for Eubank and Conor Benn because they were kids born into a life of luxury, wearing silk pyjamas.

We have all heard about Eubank's four nights in hospital and his toenails falling off.

I have been urinating blood for two days after a fight and it was a badge of honour. But when I look back now, I am an idiot. Who wants that?

If I was raised in silk pyjamas, I could not have made it as a boxer because they were kids born into a life of luxury, wearing silk pyjamas.

    Catterall beats Essuman by stoppage

    Steve Bunce
Boxing expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Essuman was dropped to his knee and it was a legitimate knockdown. He got up and was dropped again, some people will say it was illegal the second knockdown.

Essuman never recovered from either of those stunning attacks by Catterall.

    Catterall beats Essuman by stoppage

Catterall takes a stunning win but it's a bit controversial.

Essuman was downed for the second time in the fight after the referee had called break. Once free to fight again, Catterall punched Essuman out of the ring.

Subdued celebrations from Catterall with Essuman needing medical attention.

    Eubank v Benn 2

When Chris Eubank Sr called his son a "disgrace" for slapping Conor Benn with an egg, a reunion looked almost possible.

A reunion between the pair looked impossible as the bout drew closer until Eubank Sr made the first move - reaching out via text message just 24 hours before the fight.

"I called him and he wanted to see me, I told him, 'I can't take any negativity'," Eubank Jr said.

"He said, 'No, I have nothing negative to say, I want to be next to you'.

    Eubank v Benn 2

At the centre of Conor Benn's heavily tattooed torso is a large cross and at the bottom of his stomach, he has the words 'Fear God' inked on his skin.

Since childhood, Benn has been a devoted Christian but his commitment to the faith has endured some serious tests.

Benn gives us a look at his private school life: "It was very heavily Christian, very religious. School was very extreme and church was very extreme."

"Christmas was blasphemy so we couldn't celebrate it. Everything was just a lot."

    Eubank v Benn 2

Nigel Benn, speaking to DAZN: "This camp has been the best camp ever. He's so relaxed and so confident. You're going to see his mindset tonight.

"I don't see him losing this fight. Between one and three or three and six. I'm very proud of him because he's a dedicated trainer.

"The dad is a pain in the rear. It's all about him. He does my nut in."

  19. Bellew's Verdictpublished at 21:13 GMT 15 November

    Eubank v Benn 2

    Tony Bellew
Retired world champion and DAZN pundit

The hostility between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn is not manufactured. Benn is like me - he is emotionally charged and driven. For Eubank, it is business. He does not care.

These two will have become fond of each other now. When you share a fight like they did, you get respect for each other.

But that respect will go out the window this week. A line will be crossed because they need to do that to get in the right mindset.

Certain things will get said this week to wind each other up. They have family names and their own personal ambitions at stake.

The first fight was unbelievable to watch. It was non-stop from start to finish. These two could have 10 fights and all 10 would be belters.

  20. Catterall v Essuman - round eightpublished at 21:12 GMT 15 November

Catterall has a bad cut above his right eye, it was opened up after a nice shot from Essuman.

Remember, Catterall's last outing was stopped after both him and Harlem Eubank were cut after a clash of heads.
