Opener Rob Woodman's 109 not out helped Devon to a comfortable six-wicket win over Bedfordshire at Dunstable in their final MCCA Trophy match of the year.

Bedfordshire struggled to 58-3 after winning the toss as seam bowler Matthew Kidd took the first two wickets on his way to figures of 4-44.

George Thurstance (59) and Andy Reynoldson (53) led a mid-order revival as Bedfordshire reached 218-9.

But Devon reached their target with seven-and-half overs to spare.

Woodman hit 15 fours in his 127-ball innings, while Matthew Thompson scored 32 not out while Rob Holman 24 as Devon finished third in Group One.

Despite successive wins in their final two games, earlier defeats by , external and Hertfordshire meant the 2008 Trophy champions Devon could not qualify for the knockout stages.
